Salesforce Unveils New Well-Architected Framework for Modern Enterprise Architecture
Salesforce has unveiled an updated version of its Well-Architected Framework (WAF), designed to help architects navigate the complexities of the modern enterprise architecture. The framework now includes five pillars: Trust, Reliability, Operational Excellence, Resource and Cost Optimization, and Fairness.
The WAF is a set of principles and guidance for designing trusted solutions with Salesforce. It provides architects with a clear point of view on what good architecture looks like, helping them make sound decisions as systems become more complex and less deterministic.
The previous version of the framework was organized around three pillars: Trusted, Easy, and Adaptable. However, with the rise of interconnected systems, autonomous agents, and experiences that go beyond traditional interfaces, a new approach was needed.
