Salesforce's Apromore Brings Native Process Intelligence to the Ecosystem
Marcello La Rosa, VP and GM of Intelligent Process Optimisation at Salesforce, shared his experience with Apromore, a process intelligence platform born out of research at the University of Melbourne. Launched in October after being acquired by Salesforce, Apromore is designed to provide native process intelligence natively within the Salesforce ecosystem.
La Rosa warned against treating AI agents as 'patchwork' solutions that can compound inefficiencies and compliance risks if deployed on broken workflows. He emphasized the importance of tapping into transactional digital footprints to uncover how work actually gets done, rather than relying on perception-based methods like post-it note workshops.
The platform uses Monte Carlo simulation models to provide hallucination-free ROI predictions before a single agent is deployed. This enables non-technical business users across lines of business to achieve value in weeks, not months.
