Salesforce's Winter '27 Release Revolutionizes AI Agent Capabilities
Salesforce has announced its Winter '27 Release, which marks a fundamental shift in how AI agents operate within the enterprise. Unlike before, where AI agents only assisted employees one task at a time, they now run entire workflows from start to finish.
This includes qualifying pipeline, resolving service cases, booking appointments, and underwriting risk across various channels such as Slack, Teams, voice, and legacy enterprise systems.
The key to this advancement lies in the governed CRM data, which ensures complete safety when handing off entire workflows rather than just single questions. This combination of AI flexibility and CRM reliability has led to concrete business results, including autonomous scheduling with voice cutting 15-minute booking calls down to seconds.
Four customers, including PowerSchool with over 550 users, are already running Adaptive Experience in production, resulting in fewer handoffs, faster resolutions, and AI-driven outcomes. This shift empowers teams to focus on high-value work like building relationships, making judgment calls, and solving complex problems.
