Santoro Shines as Lightning Down Bedford Hills
The Lewisboro Lightning (11u) team secured a 6-3 victory over Bedford Hills on June 22, thanks in part to the strong relief pitching of Gio Santoro.
Santoro's performance was impressive, as he notched three strikeouts and helped his team maintain the lead. He also showed off his fielding skills by making an important one-handed play at third base.
The Lightning got off to a strong start, jumping out to a 4-0 first-inning lead that put pressure on their starting pitcher, Christian Cisco. However, Santoro's timely relief helped the team stay ahead and secure the win.
