Saudi Arabia Accelerates Digital Economy Transformation at LEAP 2026
Saudi Arabia is rapidly transforming its economy through the adoption of digital technologies, as evident from the recent LEAP 2026 conference in Riyadh.
The event, which took place at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center from August 31 to September 3, brought together over 600 startups, 1,000 speakers, 1,800 global tech brands, and roughly 1,900 investors under the banner 'Into New Worlds.'
Microsoft and HUMAIN's strategic partnership expansion was highlighted at the conference, with the integration of ALLAM language models into Microsoft's AI ecosystem and the deployment of specialized teams to help enterprises scale AI applications across operations.
Saudi Aramco's participation demonstrated that advanced tech is now inseparable from the industrial economy, with artificial intelligence, big data, and industrial automation intertwining with energy production, manufacturing, supply chain logistics, and operational safety.
