Scheffler Storms to Eight-Shot Victory at FedEx St. Jude Championship
Scottie Scheffler regained his winning form in dominant fashion, claiming an eight-shot victory at the FedEx St. Jude Championship.
The world No. 1 carded a four-under 66 to finish at 17-under 263 and secure his 21st PGA Tour title. This win marked Scheffler's second victory of the season, following his success at The American Express in January, and extended his remarkable run of winning multiple titles in five successive seasons.
Indian-origin players Akshay Bhatia, Sahith Theegala, and Aaron Rai also advanced to the BMW Championship, the second leg of the PGA Tour's FedEx Cup play-offs. Despite struggling in Memphis, they secured their spots due to their rankings in the FedEx Cup standings.
