Sherwin-Williams Names Celery as 2027 Color of the Year
Sherwin-Williams has announced its 2027 Color of the Year as Celery, a soft and calming shade that reflects today's priorities on wellness, balance, and connection. According to Ashley Banbury, color marketing manager at Sherwin-Williams, Celery is a versatile color with a beautiful glow that gives it a sense of expressiveness.
Celery has warm undertones reminiscent of a field in the bright sun, unlike last year's Evergreen Fog which had cooler undertones. The shift from a cooler green to a warmer one reflects the desire for spaces that remind us of nature but also show personality.
Sherwin-Williams recommends pairing Celery with neutrals, soft accent colors, and other grounding shades. They have selected eight shades that go perfectly with the natural hue. If you're looking for a wood stain to go with Celery, Sherwin-Williams suggests opting for Pickled Oak by Minwax.
