Sherwin-Williams Names Soft Green 'Celery' Its 2027 Color of the Year
Sherwin-Williams and HGTV Home by Sherwin-Williams have announced their unified 2027 Color of the Year, Celery. This soft, muted green with subtle yellow undertones is designed to bring a fresh perspective on comfort and calm to interiors.
Celery was selected from the 2027 Colormix Trend Forecast, Rewild, by the Sherwin-Williams Trendsight Team. The color reflects the growing desire for interiors that feel effortless rather than perfectly styled and its versatility allows it to move seamlessly across design styles.
'Celery was chosen as the 2027 Color of the Year because it reflects today's priorities: wellness, balance and connection,' says Ashley Banbury, color marketing manager at Sherwin-Williams. The color is part of a curated palette that includes complementary hues such as White Flour SW 7102 and Potentially Purple SW 6821.
