Sherwin-Williams Picks 'Celery' as 2027 Color of the Year
Sherwin-Williams and HGTV Home by Sherwin-Williams have chosen 'Celery' as their Color of the Year for 2027. This muted green with subtle yellow undertones offers a fresh perspective on comfort and renewal, reflecting today's priorities: wellness, balance, and connection.
The selection comes from the 2027 Colormix Trend Forecast, Rewild, which emphasizes organic character and a snap of freshness in any space. According to Ashley Banbury, color marketing manager at Sherwin-Williams, 'Celery' pairs well with a curated palette of complementary hues.
Banbury explains that the chosen palette is designed to layer depth and dimension, with rich, grounding hues like Kirsch Red and Plum Brown introducing bold warmth and sophistication. Accents such as Potentially Purple and Cosmos add refined softness and quiet elegance, while deeper shades create contrast and anchor the palette.
