Sherwin-Williams Selects Calming 'Celery' as 2027 Color of the Year
Sherwin-Williams, a leading paint company, has unveiled its Color of the Year for 2027: Celery. The 'light and airy herbal green' was chosen by Sherwin-Williams' Trendsight Team due to its calming effects and ability to bring a sense of freshness.
Celery (SW 6421) is an existing color in Sherwin-Williams' lineup, and it will also be available as HGTV Home by Sherwin-Williams (HGSW6421). The color marketing manager at Sherwin-Williams, Ashley Banbury, said Celery reflects the current priorities of wellness, balance, and connection.
Banbury noted that homeowners and designers are seeking soothing environments that support mental health and overall well-being. She emphasized that Celery has versatility, pairing well with white for a soft look or with cranberry red for a playful one.
