Sherwin-Williams Unveils 2027 Paint Color Forecast with a Focus on Personal Expression

Paint brand Sherwin-Williams has unveiled its 2027 Colormix Trend Forecast, Rewild. The forecast features 48 hues organized into three design stories: Revive, Reignite, and Reconnect.

The colors in this year's forecast are meant to be incredibly flexible and encourage homeowners to mix shades to create spaces that feel personal and lived-in.

Emily Kantz, color marketing manager at Sherwin-Williams, said the company believes homeowners are ready for something more character-filled than quiet luxury, which has dominated design over the last few years.

Kantz noted that people have been scrolling through Pinterest and social media, resulting in homes that look beautiful but eerily similar. She wants to see people express themselves with their spaces instead of following a trend.
