Sherwin-Williams Unveils 2027 Rewild Paint Collection with Bold Hues

Home interior designers are embracing bold and expressive colors as they create unique spaces that reflect their personality. According to Sherwin-Williams' 2027 Colormix Trend Forecast, a new paint collection called Rewild features 48 handpicked hues curated by the Trendsight Team.

The palette spans moody oxbloods and mossy greens to chalky whites, sun-baked clays, and rich jewel tones. The colors are organized into three design stories: Revive, Reignite, and Reconnect.

Revive celebrates heritage and craftsmanship, while Reignite takes a bolder approach with expressive colors and 'constructive chaos.' Reconnect reads the palette through an elemental lens, focusing on mineral and earth-derived tones. The forecast stems from research across Sherwin-Williams' industrial wood, coatings, and residential design divisions.

Kathy Kuo, founder and CEO of Kathy Kuo Home, noted that color has transitioned from accent to true identity. 'Let each room have its own emotional register,' she said, adding that rooms can be moodier in a library or brighter in a kitchen as long as there's a thread connecting them.
