The incident took place at 'Club Chevron', an unofficial gathering spot for people to smoke and drink overnight. When officers arrived, they found hundreds of people in the parking lot and heard two shooters.

One man was killed, and four others were injured during the shooting. At least two men were shot, while one man was beaten up, according to investigators.

The Houston Police Department is still trying to determine how a fifth victim was injured. They have not released a suspect description yet but plan to review surveillance footage from nearby businesses once they open.
