Shopify Saves Decor Steals Time, Money, and Hassle
Decor Steals, a US-based online home decor shop, switched from Salesforce Commerce Cloud to Shopify in 2023. The woman- and minority-owned business sought to innovate faster and reduce development costs. With Shopify, Decor Steals replatformed in under six months, three times faster than their previous experience with Salesforce. This new platform also saved them $300,000 compared to their original launch costs on Salesforce.
The team at Decor Steals wanted the freedom to quickly experiment with new functionality and sales channels without being bogged down by costly integrations. With Shopify, they can easily test new channels like Facebook and Instagram checkout, which were previously challenging due to a lack of native solutions in Salesforce. Partnering with Shopify also reduced development times and costs, allowing Decor Steals to focus on innovative strategies rather than tedious site maintenance.
Since moving to Shopify, Decor Steals has seen a 10% increase in conversion rate and a 7% reduction in abandoned carts. The brand is also seeing over 8% of their revenue come from new sales channels they've been able to easily test and launch since switching to Shopify. Looking forward, the team is exploring live selling and experimenting with more video sales channels using Shopify apps.
