SICA Unleashes Creativity for Canine Cause at Bark & Build Doghouse Showcase
SICA's inaugural Bark & Build Doghouse Showcase is set to take place on September 26 at The Home Depot in Kelowna, aiming to raise funds for Paws It Forward, a local dog rescue organization. The event will feature unique doghouses built by SICA members on display and up for silent auction.
The creative efforts of the construction teams will be showcased alongside local retail and food vendors, family entertainment, photo opportunities, and more. Courtney Fedevich, SICA's events and community engagement manager, stated that the event gives their members an opportunity to get creative while giving back to a cause they feel close to.
Paws It Forward's co-ordinator, Tuddi Clark, expressed her gratitude for the support, stating that the organization believes dogs deserve a safe and humane second chance at life. The funds raised through the auction and other activities will help Paws It Forward in their mission to save as many dogs as possible.
