Siemens and Salesforce Unite Teamcenter and Agentforce in Industrial AI Partnership
Salesforce and Siemens have taken their partnership to the next level by combining Agentforce with Teamcenter Service Lifecycle Management (SLM) software. The collaboration aims to help industrial companies operate as agentic enterprises at scale, putting engineering-grade answers directly into sales, service, and customer workflows.
The combined offering is designed to address three scenarios for the agent-to-agent connection: a service technician can identify the right spare parts for a specific serial number before the first site visit; a sales representative can quote only those upgrades that are technically valid and manufacturable; and a customer can find and order the right part without waiting for an engineer or calling a hotline.
Siemens has also deployed Agentforce to modernize its inbound sales development with AI agents. The company received more than 2,500 unqualified leads a month before the deployment, but now engages 100% of these inbound leads across 132 countries, converting inbound interest into productive sales conversations and revenue growth.
The partnership has outlined planned automation for Siemens' global partner ecosystem. Under the new process, prospective distributors will be handled by an AI sales development representative agent called Piper, which will build a personalized pitch on the spot and book qualified partners directly with a partner account manager.
