Silverlake Weighs In on Big Blue with Substantial IBM Stake
Silverlake Wealth Management LLC has acquired a new position in International Business Machines Corporation (NYSE:IBM), purchasing 24,630 shares of the technology company's stock valued at approximately $6,926,000. This represents about 1.3% of Silverlake Wealth Management LLC's holdings, making IBM its 14th biggest holding.
In addition to Silverlake, several other hedge funds have also recently made changes to their positions in International Business Machines. State Street Corp raised its holdings in IBM by 1.0% in the fourth quarter, while Geode Capital Management LLC grew its holdings by 1.5%. Capital World Investors increased its stake in shares of International Business Machines by 29.2%, purchasing an additional 4,976,756 shares.
Bank of America Corp DE also lifted its holdings in IBM by 7.0% during the first quarter, and Bank of New York Mellon Corp bought a new stake in the company in the second quarter worth approximately $2,606,782,000. A total of 58.96% of International Business Machines' stock is owned by hedge funds and other institutional investors.
