Singapore Credit Cards That Offer Truly Free Airport Lounge Access
While credit cards that offer free airport lounge access may seem like a great deal, many of them come with an annual fee. However, there are some cards that waive this fee in certain circumstances, making the perk truly costless.
According to calculations by The MileLion, it's possible to enjoy up to 22 lounge visits per year without paying a single cent on an annual fee. This can be achieved through three types of credit cards: those that waive the first year's annual fee, those that offer perpetual annual fee waivers for priority banking customers, and those that offer annual fee waivers for minimum spend.
The MileLion analyzed several credit cards in Singapore that offer free airport lounge access, including the DCS Cards, Citi PremierMiles Card, DBS Altitude Visa, and Maybank Visa Infinite. These cards often come with a high minimum income requirement and annual fees ranging from S$196 to S$654.
However, some credit cards offer more generous benefits, such as unlimited lounge visits or the option to pay for the first year's annual fee in exchange for bonus miles. The OCBC Premier Visa Infinite, for example, offers 6 lounge visits per year with a minimum AUM of S$200K, while the HSBC Premier Mastercard offers unlimited lounge visits.
For those who want to take advantage of multiple Priority Pass/DragonPass memberships, it's essential to understand how to manage them. The DragonPass setup is more straightforward, but Priority Pass requires separate accounts for each membership, which can be complicated to manage.
