Six Ravens Flies Under the Radar with Soft Opening
Disney Springs has welcomed its newest restaurant, Six Ravens, which is taking an unconventional approach to opening. Unlike most restaurants, Six Ravens began a soft opening period instead of launching immediately, giving guests a chance to experience the menu and operations before the grand opening.
The team behind Gideon's Bakehouse designed Six Ravens as a grab-and-go location with no seating, which is why they're implementing a virtual queue system. This allows guests to receive a text message when it's their turn to return, giving them flexibility to explore Disney Springs while waiting for their food.
The restaurant has also introduced temporary purchasing limits, capping each guest at two Coffyns, the signature hand pies. This is to ensure that more visitors have an opportunity to try the menu while production ramps up during these early operating days.
