Slinky Dog Dash at Disney's Hollywood Studios has been plagued by technical issues since late August. The ride, which is a flagship attraction in Toy Story Land, experienced multiple full-day closures and false restarts during this period.

According to an inside look at the ride's operational history between August 28 and September 5, Slinky Dog Dash was down for extended periods on several days, including three consecutive days when it remained completely offline. On some days, the ride reopened briefly before shutting down again due to technical issues.

The exact cause of these outages has not been publicly confirmed by Disney, but reports suggest that problems may be related to the launch track infrastructure. Maintenance activity was observed around the attraction during several closures, with one report showing a ride vehicle stalled near the second launch zone.

Disney quietly pulled Lightning Lane Multi Pass inventory for Slinky Dog Dash through mid-September, which could give the company operational flexibility in case of further outages. However, this move may also impact guests who hold reservations for the ride during this period.
