Small Business Saturday Campaign Kicks Off with Nation's Favourite Businesses List
Small Business Saturday has launched its annual campaign to celebrate and support the UK's 5.7 million small businesses. This year's Nation's Favourite Businesses list features a diverse range of innovative firms, including Grounds for Good in South Wales, which offers a botanical spirits range.
The list also includes Wild Cairns, an outdoor adventure experience in Scotland; Breastfeeding Boat, a floating community space in Central London; and Fish City, an independent seafood restaurant in Belfast. These businesses showcase the incredible diversity of the UK's small business community.
As part of the initiative, Small Business Saturday will award two eligible businesses on the list grants of £10,000 each, funded by American Express. The grants can be used to support future growth, whether it's upgrading essential equipment or boosting marketing efforts.
