Small Business Saturday Kicks Off Campaign Celebrating UK's Favourite Small Businesses
Small Business Saturday has kicked off its annual campaign to celebrate and support UK's 5.7 million small businesses. A nationwide search has identified this year's Nation's Favourite Businesses, showcasing a diverse range of innovative firms.
The list includes Grounds for Good, the UK's first botanical spirits range in South Wales; Wild Cairns, Scotland's outdoor adventure experience; and Breastfeeding Boat, a floating community space in Central London. Other notable mentions include Get Kindy, a toy brand creating age-appropriate tools, and KAMU Academy, an award-winning beauty and social impact business.
As part of the initiative, Small Business Saturday will award two eligible businesses on the list grants of £10,000 each, funded by American Express. The grants can be utilised in various ways to support future growth, such as upgrading equipment or investing in customer experience.
