Smilegate's Eclipse Tops Charts After Just Five Days
Smilegate's new massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) 'Eclipse: The Awakening' has reached No. 1 in top sales on both Google Play and Apple App Store just five days after its release.
The game, developed by NPIXEL, achieved the milestone of topping the Apple App Store sales rankings immediately following its launch on October 10th, and then secured the No. 1 spot on Google Play Store on October 15th.
To celebrate this achievement, Smilegate is offering growth materials to players who log into the game by October 14th, including 10 million Gold, 'Sanctuary Speedup Blessing', and 'Equipment Enhancement Sphere Crystal'. Players on the new world 'Belzera' will also receive these rewards after its opening on October 16th.
During a live stream held on October 14th, NPIXEL Executive Producer Lee Sang-moon discussed key improvement plans for the game, including adjustments to the combat environment for melee classes and lowering World Boss difficulty.
