South Dakota Fund Boosts Stake in Amazon

The South Dakota Investment Council increased its holdings in Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) by 4.6% in the first quarter of this year, according to a recent SEC filing.

The fund now owns 579,068 shares of Amazon's stock after purchasing an additional 25,584 shares during the quarter.

This makes up approximately 2.3% of South Dakota Investment Council's portfolio, making it their seventh-biggest position.
