SpaceX's Big Investors Revealed Amid Trading Lockup Expiration
SpaceX's biggest investors have been revealed after regulatory filings exposed several previously undisclosed sub-5% holders. Alphabet, Peter Thiel's Founders Fund, Fidelity, Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund, and Nvidia are among those with significant stakes in the company.
The list of investors is extensive, with each holding a substantial percentage of shares. For example, Alphabet owns approximately 4.2% of SpaceX, valued at $94 billion at June's end. Other notable holders include Valor Equity Partners (3.8%), Thiel's Founders Fund and related entities (3.2%), Fidelity (2.3%), Gigafund (1.3%), Saudi Arabia's PIF (1.2%), Baron Capital (1.1%), D1 Capital (roughly 1%), and Nvidia (about 0.9%).
Nvidia's 122.8 million shares alone are valued at nearly $21 billion, making it one of the largest positions among institutional investors.
