SPEEA to Meet Boeing on Monday Amid Contract Negotiations
Negotiators from Boeing and its largest white-collar union, SPEEA, will meet on Monday to resume stalled contract discussions. The talks aim to reach a new agreement before the current contract expires on October 6.
Last week, SPEEA's roughly 17,000 members overwhelmingly rejected Boeing's contract offer. A survey of union members found that they prioritize larger and immediate guaranteed wage increases from Boeing.
The second priority was more money for annual performance-based raises, followed by better annual cost-of-living adjustments. Boeing has declined to comment further on the negotiations.
