Spirit Airlines Flight Attendants Object to Google Data Sale
A $10 million data sale between Spirit Airlines and Google is facing opposition from flight attendants over concerns about employee privacy.
The deal would give Google access to a vast trove of business and software data, including 3.4 million payroll records, 100 million emails, and employee data dating back to 1986.
A hearing on the transaction was originally set for August 18, but its status is unclear at present.
