Sports Stars Tee Off at Amgen Irish Open Pro-Am
Sporting legends from GAA, rugby, and boxing are set to trade in their playing fields for golf clubs next week at the Amgen Irish Open Pro-Am. The event, taking place from September 9-13 at Trump International Golf Links Ireland in Doonbeg, Co. Clare, will feature an impressive lineup of sports stars.
Former Ireland and Munster scrum-half Conor Murray, Mayo footballer Ryan O'Donoghue, Limerick hurler Gearóid Hegarty, and Cork camogie player Clíona O'Callaghan are among the athletes participating in the tournament. The event will also include a Q&A session with the All-Ireland champions from various sports, giving fans a unique opportunity to meet their heroes.
The week-long celebration will extend beyond golf, with live entertainment and music performances by Irish chart-toppers Keywest and contemporary folk-rock band All Folk'd Up. General Admission tickets are still available for certain rounds, but weekend tickets have already sold out.
