Star Wars Expands into Anime Territory with The Ninth Jedi Series
The highly anticipated anime series Star Wars: Visions Presents - The Ninth Jedi, set in the Star Wars universe, is almost here. It's a full-length anime show that continues the story of KaraKara from the short episodes 'The Ninth Jedi' and 'The Ninth Jedi: Child of Hope'. In this new series, Lah Kara trains under Juro and searches for her missing father.
The series will have eight episodes, all set to release on Disney+ and Hulu on August 5, 2026. Production I.G, a renowned anime studio, is behind the show in collaboration with Lucasfilm.
