Statiq Boosts EV Charging Experience with Google Maps Integration
Statiq, India's largest charging network, has seen significant growth in user experience and revenue since integrating Google Maps' Places UI Kit into its app interface.
The company, which sells electrons to support the rapid adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) in India, used the Places UI Kit to provide users with a more seamless and informative experience when searching for charging stations.
With the integration, Statiq's customers can now locate charging stations, view nearby amenities such as restrooms, parking, and cafes, and navigate to their chosen station directly within the app.
The implementation of the Places UI Kit resulted in a 13% increase in navigation starts, a 15% reduction in time from when a driver opens the Statiq app to the conclusion of a successful charging session, and a 10% improvement in overall user satisfaction.
