Singer Steve Yoo has shared his thoughts ahead of an upcoming ruling in a visa lawsuit. In a personal post, he expressed gratitude for his loved ones and family, saying 'it would be a lie to say I have no regrets in life.' Despite this, he emphasized the importance of having precious values and people by his side, which makes him truly happy.

Steve Yoo has been involved in controversy surrounding his military service obligation in South Korea. He obtained US citizenship ahead of his enlistment in 2002, leading to accusations that he evaded his duty. As a result, he was restricted from entering the country and applied for an overseas Korean visa in 2015, which was denied.

He has since filed a lawsuit seeking to have the decision revoked, with legal proceedings continuing over the years. The Seoul High Court is scheduled to issue its ruling on October 2, following a previous Supreme Court of Korea ruling in his favor. However, the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Los Angeles continued to deny the visa, leading to ongoing legal disputes.
