Stifel Keeps Hold Rating on Home Depot Despite Strong Quarterly Sales
Home Depot Inc.'s () stock remains overvalued according to Stifel analyst W. Andrew Carter, who has maintained a Hold rating on the home improvement retailer.
The company's SRS platform, which it has invested heavily in with over $27 billion spent on mergers and acquisitions, still only accounts for a small percentage of its overall business.
Home Depot shares were trading at $310.87, but despite this, the stock offers a 3.0% yield due to its consistent dividend growth, having raised it for 16 consecutive years.
In recent news, Home Depot reported a 1.7% increase in comparable sales year-over-year for the second quarter, beating the consensus estimate of 1.1% and maintaining its fiscal 2026 sales guidance of flat to 2% growth.
