Storm Chasers Host Iowa Cubs in Crucial Homestand
The Storm Chasers are set to host their closest geographical rivals, the Iowa Cubs, in a six-game homestand from September 15-20.
This is the first time this season that Omaha has hosted only one series against the I-Cubs, who have been leading the season series 6 games to 5. The Storm Chasers will need to win four out of the six games to clinch the season series for the third time since 2013.
The homestand features a variety of promotions and giveaways, including Pitch In For The Pantry on Tuesday, where fans can bring three cans of non-perishable food items in exchange for one Leonard Management McDonald's berm ticket. On Wednesday, Bark In The Park will feature dog-friendly seating areas and a pregame dog parade.
The series also includes Dollar Dog Night, $3 Thursday with discounts on hot dogs, Lay's chips, ice cream cones, and select tickets, Pride Night, Take Meowt To The Ballgame featuring cat-friendly seating areas, Fan Appreciation On Bellevue University Night, Team Photo Giveaway, Kids Run The Bases, Family Sunday with Wildlife Encounters, face painters, balloon artists, and other activities.
