Sumitomo Life Insurance Co. Buys New Stake in The Travelers Companies

Sumitomo Life Insurance Co. has entered a new position in The Travelers Companies, Inc., buying approximately $1.676 million worth of TRV shares during the second quarter.

The purchase consisted of 5,077 shares acquired by the fund through its most recent disclosure with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

This is not an isolated instance, as several other hedge funds and institutional investors have also bought or sold TRV shares in the fourth quarter. Arbejdsmarkedets Tillaegspension purchased a new position worth $24.167 million, while Rit Capital Partners PLC acquired a position valued at approximately $39.45 million.

UBS Group AG boosted its holdings by 5.3% and now owns 1,774,756 shares of TRV stock worth $514.79 million.
