Sumitomo Life Insurance Co. Takes Stake in Salesforce

Sumitomo Life Insurance Co., a Japanese insurance company, has purchased 4,812 shares of Salesforce Inc. (NYSE:CRM) stock in its most recent 13F filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The purchase was made during the second quarter and is valued at approximately $754,000. This is not Sumitomo's first investment in CRM; it has previously held a stake in the company.

Several other institutional investors have also added to or reduced their stakes in Salesforce in recent quarters, including Commonwealth Retirement Investments LLC, Gilpin Wealth Management LLC, and Persistent Asset Partners Ltd.
