According to data from Dataroma, a total of 10 stocks were among the top purchases for these high-net-worth individuals. Among them was Sunbelt Rentals Holdings, a name that might not ring a bell with many retail investors.
Microsoft topped the list with 37 super investor portfolios holding it, followed closely by Meta and Amazon. Microsoft's popularity can be attributed to AltaRock Partners, which held 20.54% of its portfolio in the stock, while Bill Ackman's Pershing Square Capital Management owned 11.89%. Other notable investors in Microsoft include Terry Smith's Fundsmith, which trimmed its stake by 23.22%
The data also revealed that some super investors are buying into lesser-known companies like Sunbelt Rentals Holdings and UnitedHealth Group Inc. While others, such as Robert Vinall of Tiger Global, were selling their stakes.
