Suspected Arsonist Sets Gas Pump Ablaze at SW Miami-Dade Chevron
A suspected arsonist is being sought by authorities after setting fire to a gas pump at a Chevron station in southwest Miami-Dade early Thursday morning.
The incident occurred around 2:10 am at the Chevron station located on Southwest 40th Street. The suspect intentionally set the pump ablaze and fled the scene, according to officials from the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews responded quickly to extinguish the flames and prevent any further damage. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.
