Sustainable Insight Capital Management LLC Boosts Stake in NVIDIA Amidst Rising Demand
Sustainable Insight Capital Management LLC has increased its stake in NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA) by 17.1% during the first quarter, according to its most recent filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The institutional investor now owns 109,056 shares of NVDA's stock, worth $19.019 million at the end of the quarter, making up about 6.4% of Sustainable Insight Capital Management LLC's investment portfolio.
This is not an isolated move as a number of other large investors have also modified their holdings in NVDA. Norges Bank acquired a new position in shares of NVIDIA in the fourth quarter valued at $62.244 billion, while J. Stern & Co. LLP grew its stake in shares of NVIDIA by 13,709.1% during the same period.
NVIDIA's stock has been on the rise after CEO Elon Musk announced that SpaceX will exclusively use NVDA chips for AI infrastructure, including the Vera Rubin platform. Analysts and market commentators are raising their long-term forecasts, with one scenario suggesting NVIDIA could approach $1 trillion in annual revenue if SpaceX delivers even part of Musk's planned computing buildout.
NVIDIA has also seen a surge in demand for its B200 systems, which remain sold out. The company has authorized a stock repurchase plan worth $80 billion and increased its dividend payout ratio to 15.31%.
