Swedish Life Insurance Firm Bets Big on Salesforce
Livforsakringsbolaget Skandia Omsesidigt, a Swedish life insurance company, has made its first investment in Salesforce Inc. (NYSE:CRM), purchasing 5,271 shares worth approximately $828,000 in the second quarter.
This is not an isolated incident, as other large investors have also been buying CRM stock. In the fourth quarter, Commonwealth Retirement Investments LLC and Manning & Napier Advisors LLC purchased new positions valued at around $25,000 each. Meanwhile, Costello Asset Management INC raised its stake by 410.3% in the first quarter.
As of now, institutional investors own a significant portion of CRM stock, with 80.43% being held by hedge funds and other institutional investors.
