Sweep's Agentic Layer Revolutionizes Enterprise System Governance
Sweep is an agentic layer that helps organizations understand and govern complex enterprise systems by continuously mapping metadata, dependencies, permissions, automations, and integrations.
Co-Founder and CEO Ido Gaver explained that he saw a pattern in growing technology companies where platforms like Salesforce become central to how a business operates but accumulate layers of configuration, automation, and integrations over time. This complexity slows down companies and increases operational risk.
Gaver founded Sweep in 2021 after co-founding Flok, which was later acquired by Wix. He led several initiatives at Wix, including B2B strategy and partnerships. The idea for Sweep came from watching organizations struggle with the complexity they had built over years of scaling their systems.
The agentic layer continuously maps metadata across platforms so teams and AI agents can understand dependencies, simulate changes, and operate safely. It includes metadata retrieval, deterministic parsing, dependency mapping, and a Unified Metadata Graph that allows AI agents to reason about systems before taking action.
