SwiftKey Brings Pixel 11-Exclusive Voice Typing Feature to All Android Phones
SwiftKey is rolling out an AI voice typing feature for Android phones in beta. The feature, which cleans up and formats speech automatically, was previously only available on Google's Pixel 11 series under the name Rambler.
The SwiftKey app will require users to download an AI model that is around 163MB before using the new feature. This means that users can use it completely offline, unlike Google's Rambler which requires an internet connection.
The new feature works similarly to Rambler, where users can speak naturally and the app cleans up corrections and properly formats the final text. It is currently available on the latest SwiftKey beta for Android version 9.13.16.4.
