SwiftKey Overtakes Gboard as Top Android Keyboard Choice

I'm a die-hard Google Gboard loyalist, having installed it on every Android phone and tablet I've used. However, after hitting a 'major wall' with declining typing accuracy and clunky clipboard management, I decided to explore alternative keyboards.

Microsoft SwiftKey was one of the top contenders. Its stable build impressed me with its swiping and prediction features, as well as excellent multi-language support. It even excelled in clipboard management and cross-device syncing, making it a valuable tool for heavy users like myself.

However, I was disappointed by its voice input feature, which struggled with speech-to-text recognition and accuracy. The beta version, on the other hand, significantly improved voice typing speed and accuracy, although it still lacked support for niche languages.

FUTO Keyboard, another contender, stood out for its uncompromised privacy features. It runs offline without requiring an account, keeping all typing patterns and data secure on the device. Although its language catalog is limited compared to SwiftKey or Gboard, FUTO excelled in customization and glide typing experience.

Samsung Keyboard, which I previously avoided, surprised me with its deep integration with One UI and native S Pen handwriting support. It also refined its text prediction engine and offered visual customization options that third-party keyboards couldn't match.
