SwiftKey's Liquid Glass Makeover Causes Chaos for iOS Users

Microsoft has rolled out an update to its popular keyboard app SwiftKey for iOS, adding the Liquid Glass theme that users have been requesting. The new design brings SwiftKey's typing interface closer to Apple's visual language introduced in iOS 26.

The update was released as version 4.3.5 and is available to all SwiftKey users on iOS. However, some users are already reporting issues with the new design, including crashes, missing keys, and unexpected switches back to Apple's default keyboard.

SwiftKey had previously updated its main app with Liquid Glass styling months ago, but the keyboard itself retained its older design. Users had repeatedly asked Microsoft to update the keyboard as well, which has now been done.
