Syracuse Alumni Shine in Mixed Week for Orange Players
Former Syracuse Orange football players had a mixed week in the NFL's Week 1. The Jets, led by Andre Cisco, pulled off a surprising win over the Titans with a score of 23-10.
Cisco stepped up when Minkah Fitzpatrick left the game due to a groin injury, finishing second on the team with six solo tackles. This was a notable contribution from Cisco, who didn't start the game but made an impact when needed.
In contrast, the Browns struggled in their 34-10 loss to the Cardinals. However, Andre Szmyt performed well, making his only field goal and PAT for a total of four points. Unfortunately, this wasn't enough to change the outcome of the game.
