T-Mobile Stresses Growth Strategy and Network Strength at Goldman Sachs Conference
T-Mobile's growth strategy remains central to its operations, according to Chief Executive Srini Gopalan. Speaking at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia + Technology Conference in September 2026, Gopalan emphasized that the company's focus on growth must be backed by network strength, customer value, and a strong company culture.
Gopalan outlined T-Mobile's two-pillar strategy: a strong growth portfolio and a distinctive culture. He highlighted the company's recent results, including strong postpaid additions, rising service revenue, and improving earnings as evidence that its model is working.
T-Mobile's growth engine now spans consumer wireless, fixed wireless access, fiber, business services, financial services, and AI-related opportunities. The company reported 500,000 postpaid net additions in the second quarter, about halfway to its full-year target range of 950,000 to 1,050,000.
Gopalan also discussed T-Mobile's network, value proposition, and customer experience, which support a 46 net promoter score, the highest among the big three U.S. carriers. He stressed that AI could open up 'game-changing' opportunities for the company.
