Taco Bell Vet Takes Helm at Jack in the Box as President and Future CEO
Taylor Montgomery, a Taco Bell veteran with over a decade of experience in the quick-service industry, has been named president of Jack in the Box Inc. The move marks the next step in the company's succession plan, which will see Montgomery assume the role of CEO within the next 12 months.
Montgomery joins Jack in the Box from Taco Bell, where he served as global chief brand officer and led the growth strategy for over 9,000 restaurants. Prior to that, he held multiple positions at Procter & Gamble for more than six years.
'Jack in the Box is an iconic brand with tremendous potential,' Montgomery said. 'I am excited to help lead its next chapter and create lasting value for the company and its shareholders.'
Montgomery's appointment comes after Mark King, executive chairman and interim CEO, was named to the role following Lance Tucker's departure in May. King has been a member of Jack in the Box's board since November 2025.
