Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar Games are taking drastic measures to identify the source behind recent Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) leaks. The company has filed subpoenas at the federal district court level, targeting Microsoft and Discord in an effort to uncover the identity of the leaker(s).

According to a filing by Take-Two's counsel, the subpoenas were submitted to gather information related to the suspected leaker's XBOX and Discord accounts. Microsoft has been given two weeks (until September 4th) to provide all internal business records associated with their investigation of the 'cyberleek' persona.

Discord is also being requested to share information, including identifying data from user accounts that were part of several listed servers and usernames. The company has until September 4th to comply with the request.

The saga surrounding GTA 6 leaks continues to unfold, with Take-Two's efforts to identify the source sparking controversy and speculation among fans and content creators.
