Take-Two Subpoenas Microsoft and Discord Over GTA 6 Leaks
A New York court has approved subpoenas for Take-Two Interactive, seeking information from Microsoft and Discord to identify users connected to the hacking group behind CYBERLEEK's leaked Grand Theft Auto 6 gameplay footage.
The filings note that the GTA developer is looking for account data linked to materials posted on Discord and GitHub.
This move comes after CYBERLEEK had begun charging money for a poll asking what content players would like to see leak, with their website stating they were open to ad placements in future leaks. They allegedly requested up to $164,000 in cryptocurrency just to discuss these arrangements.
