Take-Two Sues Microsoft and Discord Over GTA 6 Leaks
A fresh wave of alleged Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) gameplay leaks has surfaced, prompting Rockstar Games parent company Take-Two Interactive to take legal action. The group behind the leaks, known as Cyberleek, claims responsibility for sharing nine videos online featuring protagonist Jason Duvall in various scenes.
The leaked footage appears to offer a closer look at several gameplay elements in the upcoming open-world title, including a refuelling mechanic and interactions with petrol stations. One video reportedly shows a plane flying over Vice City at night, while others feature Jason stealing cars, robbing a gas station, and visiting a strip club.
Take-Two has started taking legal measures to identify and track down the source of the leaks by filing subpoena requests in US federal courts seeking information from Microsoft and Discord linked to accounts that allegedly shared the leaked material. The company is also working with Google and X to issue DMCA takedowns on any further leaked content.
