Take-Two Sues Microsoft and Discord Over GTA VI Leaks
Take-Two Interactive has launched legal proceedings in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York to identify those responsible for leaking Grand Theft Auto VI footage.
The publisher filed petitions for subpoenas against tech giants Microsoft and Discord, compelling both platforms to hand over extensive user records and internal investigative files tied to the security breach.
The subpoena directed at Microsoft targets a GitHub repository that allegedly hosted copyrighted GTA VI assets, including dialogue, artwork, and video clips. Take-Two is specifically seeking Microsoft’s internal investigative records concerning a primary persona known as ‘CYBERLEEK’.
